Hunter has been pretty active lately, moving his arms and legs around a lot. Sometimes when he's nursing I have to hold his hand so that he doesn't smack me in the chest. Plus it's sweet to hold his hand. He still nurses for about 40 minutes, although I've noticed that sometimes in the mornings he will nurse for about 20-30 minutes instead. So maybe if I've gone longer and there's more milk in there, then it comes out faster and he gets more full quicker. Or maybe he's just more awake when he eats. When he eats in the middle of the night, I can usually get away with 20-30 minutes thankfully.
After all his tummy issues last week, I went three days with no dairy so he could get back on track, and now I'm going every other day again. He seems to be doing pretty well with it!
His eyes are starting to change colors, too. There's a little brown sneaking its way in there!
This week he grabbed onto a toy on his activity mat by himself and has started grabbing onto his toes! So he's definitely reaching some milestones. He still loves bath time and splashing around, but he screams bloody murder when we take him out of it. It's a pretty brutal 15 minutes or so that he'll scream. And he's doing good in the high chair. I think he likes sitting with us at dinner. I can't believe that he'll be four months on Monday! Time sure does fly!
