This week has been quite the week, too. Finally, yesterday Hunter started pulling up on his own and standing. I guess he first did it at daycare. He pulled up on the couch and then started clapping. Ha! Then after dinner, he kept pulling himself up so he could play with his toys. Previously he had only been able to pull up onto his knees, so this is pretty huge. I just hope he doesn't start doing it in the middle of the night because he's not great at sitting back down yet. This morning I was holding him and went to set him down, but instead of bending at the waist, he kept straight. He did not want to sit...he wanted to stand!
We have officially started the weaning/stop breastfeeding process. Last Friday I stopped pumping at 9pm, and my milk has definitely decreased. I was going to stop the 2pm feeding with Friday being the last one, but I decided to nurse him one last time at 2pm on Saturday instead. It's crazy how ready and sad I am about this at the same time. So starting Sunday he will get a bottle at 2pm. Next Saturday I'll cut out the 10am nursing.
And, yep, I totally bribed him with the TV remotes so that he would lay on his back for these pictures. Parenting win.
