We found out Friday that we had a strong implantation, and my beta level was 309 (last time it was 77). They wanted it to rise to 600, and today it was at 881! So things are looking really good.
We are obviously so thrilled and so thankful to God and all of our family and friends for praying for us and thinking about us. We really couldn't have done this without everyone. I think we're also in a bit of shock and are amazed that it has finally happened after more than three years. It's been a very long road.
For now, I have to keep taking all of my same medicines and go in every Tuesday morning for blood work so they can make sure that my hormone levels are appropriate. We have an ultrasound scheduled for September 15th to hear the baby's heartbeat! So exciting! That's the next big hurdle, and I'm on restrictions until then. I'll have to keep taking the meds until they discharge me to my OB at week 12.
On Wednesday, I will be 5 weeks pregnant (you are 2.5 weeks with they do the embryo transfer). I feel pretty fine so far, but I start feeling a little not right in the late afternoon/evening time. I certainly don't feel like I'm going to vomit, but I can start to feel that things are a little off. However, I'm eating and drinking just fine, and that's the only symptom so far. I'm thankful and hope this will be a smooth pregnancy.
Thanks again for your prayers and support. They mean the world to us. You guys are all the best!!!
Much love,
Emily and Shamus
