Things are going pretty good this week. My biggest struggles still are being tired and not having any idea what to eat for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are pretty easy, but I struggle with dinner choices. I seem to eat a lot of bread and pasta, and often Shamus and I don't eat the same thing for dinner. A piece of meat sounds pretty disgusting, and that usually was what our meals were. Chicken with potatoes or beef or ham or another protein with a side. That sounds really gross. The side items sound good but not the meat. Soups and stews sound good right now, so I'm hoping that I'll have enough energy this weekend to make a bunch of those and freeze them. That will be a nice dinner.
The baby is growing bones in the arms and legs, the intestines are beginning to move to the abdomen, and the vocal cords are growing. Pretty cool stuff!
My belly is starting to get bigger, but I definitely don't look pregnant yet. Just like I eat a lot of what I sell at the bakery. I'm still wearing my same clothes, but Shamus keeps wondering when I get to wear the maternity pants. He's kind of obsessed with them.
We got the results back on the nuchal transparency test, and the blood test was clear. There are no genetic abnormalities. This was the second test that said this, so I think we can breathe easy on that! Thank God!!
Total Weight Gained: +3.5 pounds
Sleep: I sleep really good, but I hate getting up in the middle of the night to pee. This seems to happen all the time now.
Most Exciting Moment: Hearing the blood test came back normal!
