The baby is the size of a blueberry, and the mouth and tongue are forming as well as arm and leg buds. As you can see from the picture, it looks like a little bean. I was at the Broncos game on Sunday, and I was very happy it didn't have ears yet because it was so loud at the end of the game!
How I'm feeling: Pretty good. I'd still say my biggest symptom is exhaustion. I still haven't had any real nausea yet, for which I'm very thankful. However, I'm still waiting for it. I haven't had any cravings yet, but I've definitely experienced food aversions. I haven't had eggs again since last week. Meat doesn't sound or smell very good. The smell of mint (like gum or toothpaste) is pretty gross, but only when I smell it on someone else, which is strange. What sounds good for dinner one night is something I don't even remotely want for leftovers the next day, and I've had a hard time planning dinner because things really don't sound appetizing when it's time to cook and eat. I hope this gets better because it's hard to play the last-minute what to have for dinner game.
We are planning to not find out the sex of the baby until he/she is born. We could have known back in March when we had the genetic testing done, but since nothing about this process has been a surprise, we wanted to hold one thing back. We will see if we make it!
