We finally had a breakthrough this week, and Hunter started sleeping longer stretches at night. It's a Christmas miracle. On Tuesday night, he slept for 4 hours straight. I put him down at midnight, and when I woke up at 4am(!!), I had to double check my phone to make sure my alarm clock was right! Then the next night, he only woke up once in the middle of the night and did two four-hour stretches on either side. It was truly amazing, and he's been doing it ever since. Let's hope that this continues and even improves. I'll totally take this though. It's incredible.
He is so hungry all the time. I try to wait every two hours to feed him, but sometimes it's hard. He wants to nurse for 30-45 minutes each time, and he would still take a bottle after if I gave it to him. The doctor said that he thinks the reflux feeling is hunger, so I'm trying to hold him off so he doesn't get sick. But boy this child can eat!
He has been more awake during the day, but he is not good at taking naps unless he's being held by someone or moving in the car or stroller. He is looking around more and starting to give us smiles here and there (although I wonder if it's because he's pooping or farting). He's a doll!
