Speaking of eating, boy does this kid love to eat. We gave him avocados and beans to try this week, and he's done pretty good with them. Still his favorite are the flavored rice crackers and bread. He loves bread. We also gave him Cheerios, but he's not a huge fan of them. No wonder. They don't really taste all that good. Once he's one, he can get the honey nut ones. For now, they're plain. And boring. In the mornings, I'll put a bunch of stuff on his tray, like bread (whole wheat), rice crackers, puffs, and Cheerios. He goes for the rice crackers first, then the bread, then the puffs, and the Cheerios are left. We've also given him scrambled eggs, which he seemed to like, and cinnamon apples. He does pretty good with the other stuff, but he's a bread and crackers kid.
This week we took him to the park so that he could try swinging and going down the slide. He wasn't a huge fan of either of them, but I think the more we go, the more he will like it.
Hunter has been sleeping really well for us! He will take one-two naps/day in his crib, and he's been sleeping really well through the night. He's still getting up really early (before 7), which isn't so fun, but I'll bring him into bed with me and we will snuggle for a little bit. So I'm ultimately not that upset about it. Just tired. I'm starting to wonder if I should stop waking him around 9 to feed him again, but he eats really efficiently during that feeding, so I wonder if he would be starving without it. I'm going to have to ponder that for awhile. I feel bad waking him up though.
