It's fun to sit him up and play with him now. I like to sit behind him and stack blocks that he can knock over. He's pretty steady, but he does still topple over sometimes. Last night he faceplanted into a toy, and he was not happy! Poor kiddo! He loves the musical toys, and ones with lots of different things to do. Of course they all play super annoying music, but he likes it.
While I'm with him, he nurses six times/day. Plus he gets cereal in the morning and evening and baby food around 2:30. We have replaced the nursing session at 2:30ish with baby food. When he goes to daycare, he's still getting three bottles, plus I'm nursing him three times. I'm going to start decreasing the amount of milk in his bottles by an ounce to see if he still does ok. It's hard to pump that much, especially when I'm not pumping all the time. He hates textures in his food, but I know he just has to get used to it. I've been putting some mashed up banana in his cereal, and he makes faces and tries to spit it out, even though he likes banana. I've also been mixing some peanut butter into his cereal, and he likes that.
Last Friday was my last no dairy day. He seems to be doing fine with me eating dairy every day other than he's been pooping a ton. But it doesn't seem to bother him, so I'm going to keep at it. In a couple of weeks, I'm going to try to wean him off the medication, too.
He is seriously getting so big! He's super squirmy all the time, too. It's amazing how fast they grow!
